About a week ago we reported that Steve Kondik, the man behind CyanogenMod, was developing a new feature called Incognito Mode for apps. It has been announced today that all future CyanogenMod nightly builds will come with this feature, which has now been renamed to Privacy Guard. The feature will allow users to run apps on their Android devices without having to provide them full access to data stored on the device, this can include messages, contacts and call logs. The Privacy Guard feature is not going to be available in 10.1.0 RC or other stable CyanogenMod builds that are currently available for download.
