Are you the 2014 Honda Fit?

Are you the 2014 Honda Fit?

Despite being the oldest model in North America's subcompact sweepstakes, the current Honda Fit remains a paragon in its segment, offering unparalleled packaging, good road manners and robust reliability. In fact, even with far more modern competitors like the Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Accent and Nissan Versa Note on the scene, it may well still be the best of the bunch. All of which explains why we're so nervous about the next-generation model, shown in these apparently leaked stock shots scanned from an in-country magazine (no, that rear end really isn't that wonky, it's the page curl distorting the image).

Adidas Springblade Running Shoes Offer Cutting Edge Technology

Adidas Springblade Running Shoes Offer Cutting Edge Technology

There are two major sports brand giants in town, and they are Adidas and Nike, although we will concentrate on the former today. Adidas' most recent unveiling concerned the Springblade running shoes which look out of this world, where angled elastic blades that are located on the soles have been touted to give you an edge in competition, while ensuring that you will be able to perform at a far better rate than normal compared to the moments when you make use of "normal" shoes to do your fitness regime.

BBM Coming To iOS, Android 'Before The End Of The Summer'

T-Mobile UK confused the entire Internet as they released a teaser image of BlackBerry Messenger running on a Samsung Galaxy S3 announcing BlackBerry's popular messenger would be making its way to both iOS and Android on June 27. Unfortunately, it seems like T-Mobile UK jumped the gun a bit as BlackBerry denied BBM would be made available on that date.

You can install Android 4.3 on your Galaxy S4 right now

Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition was unleashed just two days ago, but some lucky guy have somehow managed to get his hands on an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean-running test unit of the device. The Android build however doesn't have all of the features that will premiere within the official Android 4.3 though. The Google's edition of Samsung's flagship is based on the I9505 model powered by the Snapdragon 600 chipset and normally runs on a stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean ROM.
However if you already got one or even if you own a regular I9505 Galaxy S4 and wonder what is to have the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, now you can experience it.

Porsche 911 GT2 caught testing, is super bad

Porsche 911 GT2 caught testing, is super bad

Look what spy photographers have spotted sprinting around the Nürburgring. Our shooters nabbed a few photos of the all-new Porsche 911 GT2 in its native habitat without any of the bulky camouflage or cladding we're used to seeing. The result is our first truly clear view at the upcoming successor to the GT2 throne. From the looks of it, the new model will boast wider fender arches front and rear, and hefty air intakes set into the machine's hips should help feed a beastly 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine.

Samsung may be looking to rectify that. @evleaks has just leaked some promo images of the device rocking a beautiful new “Purple Mirage” paint job. No word on which carrier this will land on, but we expect to learn more in the very near future.

Samsung continues to take care of their home market of South Korea by announcing the availability of the $13,000 Curved OLED TV (or at least, that is the price point that we came up with after performing some currency conversion). Something tells me that the more luxurious hotel suites around the world might want to pamper their guests with the Curved OLED TV, especially since it boasts of a whole new level in innovation which will be able to deliver immaculate true-to-life pictures regardless of the angle or vantage point, all thanks to the unique curved display.

iOS 7 Lets You Control Your Device Using Head Movements

iOS 7 Lets You Control Your Device Using Head Movements

It looks like with iOS 7, Apple is interested in giving users more ways to interact with their phone apart from just touching it. Discovered in the latest build of iOS 7 beta 2, it was found that the operating system now allows users to interact with the phone using head movements, such as by turning your head to the left or right. According to the folks at 9to5 Mac who managed to take it for a spin, they found the feature pretty accurate, albeit tedious since there were apparently many options to cycle through before reaching the one you want.

Buttercup The Duck Gets New 3D Printed Foot

Buttercup The Duck Gets New 3D Printed Foot

Dogs run, butterflies flit, and ducks – well, they can certainly fly, but I suppose swimming would be another suitable verb to describe them. For a duck to lack one foot, it would pretty much be having an eagle get around with a broken wing, as the missing foot would certainly hamper its movement, whether on land or on water. Buttercup the duck, however, was born with a backwards left foot, hence ensuring that his prospects for a happy future looked bleak. The backwards left foot made it difficult and painful to walk, resulting in cuts as well as the risk of infection all the time.

Analyst: Apple Said To Slash iPhone Orders

Do you think that analysts have a slightly different outlook compared to the rest of us. I suppose the answer would be in the affirmative to a certain extent, otherwise they would not be analysts, would they. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek has a new report which claimed that Apple Inc. will be slashing their iPhone manufacturing orders for the rest of the year.
According to Misek, it seems that the change in Apple's manufacturing plans will see it reduce iPhone orders for the third quarter of 2013 from 40 million-45 million all the way down to 25 million-30 million, which is nearly half the amount less.

Mirror's Edge 2 Was Built For Next-Generation Consoles

This year's E3 was one of the most important for the gaming industry considering just how crucial the next generation of consoles is going be for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. EA Games announced a number of next-generation titles, one of which was Mirror's Edge 2. Fans of the original game have been wondering why it's taken the company so long to release a sequel, and it looks like the reason might have been due to the hardware limitations of current-generation game consoles.

It seems that individuals selling their own organ parts to pay for goods these days has become more common than we would like, and it looks like it has happened again in China and the result is the Chinese government and the media blaming video games as being the cause. According to the story, a man from Gangsu province named Zhang wanted to raise cash quick, and reached out to an organ dealer and offered to sell his kidney. He ended up selling his kidney for a mere $6,510 when the going price was $47,000.

I suppose you could say that one of the most famous phrases we would have heard would be this, "Doctor, heal thyself!". The thing is, not every single one of us have knowledge of administering first aid when the situation calls for it, let alone been trained, but perhaps conceptual first aid kits like the one you see above could change things for the better down the road for everyone. Knives are definitely not fun things to be hurt by, but sometimes, a slip in the kitchen could result in profuse bleeding despite a knife cut being but a minor wound.

After spending a few days with the recalcitrant mechanism that masquerades as a transmission in the Smart Fortwo, we can admit we've pondered all sorts of ways to prematurely end the car's life. An impromptu hardcore off-road excursion has figured prominently in at least one such scenario. Evidently the marketers behind Smart have entertained similar thoughts, or at least spent some time contemplating the old chestnut that goes something like, "Who makes the best off-roader. Hertz." After all, how else can we explain this 49-second spot.

HP unveils the Slate 21 AIO, a 21.5-inch Android-powered all-in-one desktop computer with a touchscreen

HP has just announced a 21.5-inch Android tablet. No, really. This isn't April Fools Day. And there's no typo, you read that right – a 21.5-inch tablet. Well, it's being sold as a desktop ‘all-in-one', as they say, but it runs Android, unlike every other AIO out there.

This clearly shows that HP is starting to bet more and more on Android. On one hand, such a huge Android device seems ludicrous. On the other hand, the original Samsung Galaxy Note seemed so too when it was announced. And look at how the ‘phablet' category has been growing ever since.

Official: NVIDIA to license out GPU's to other chip makers

Nvidia took to their blog today to talk about what else, but their bread and butter: GPU's. It's been a tough year for NVIDIA. Their next-gen Tegra 4 processors haven't been too well adopted amongst Android OEM's. Most smartphone and tablet manufacturers these days are turning to Qualcomm and their Snapdragon platform for all their computing needs, putting NVIDIA in a tight spot. But don't worry, it looks like NVIDIA may have another plan.

According to their blog post, NVIDIA will expand their business model by licensing out their GPU's, for use in mobile processors — starting with the Kepler.

Hardware. Let's face it: satellite phones have never been sexy. But in reality, the Global Phone is a heck of a lot more attractive than those that have come before it. It measures 5.3 x 2.2 x 1.5 inches, weighs just 7.1 ounces and can withstand just about any temperature that the user can. The token extendable antenna is here in full force, and when fully erect, the length of the phone nearly triples. The device itself is barely a burden in the grand scheme of things; in fact, it's easy to misplace in larger packs.
