A while back, we reported a few leaks that were supposedly the Sony Ericcson Xperia Duo which was apparently named as such because it was going to be Sony's (then still Sony Ericcson) first dual-core smartphone and it was due for release in September 2011. Now after months and months of no news regarding the device, it seems like we will soon be seeing the device in reality. Reportedly, Sony Mobile Communications filed for a trademark for the Xperia Duo with the USPTO on March 28.
