Sharp announced today in Japan a trio of AQUOS Blu-Ray recorder with the BD-T2100 (2TB), BD-T1100 (1TB) and BD-T510 (500GB) which all comes with a new spinoff of the iVDR-S, the SHDD. So what is all about SHDD and why not stiking with iVDR and just call a cat a cat. Well it seems that the world needed another ultra restrictive media in dedicated to piss-off the most customer possible at once. Indeed while technically SHDD and iVDR-S are identical, Sharp decided to lock-up SHDD drives one and one player only.
