LG is getting ready to launch its first smartphone to feature an HD (1280 x 720) display: the LG LU6200. Expected to be released in South Korea on September 26, the LU6200 seems to be LG's next flagship smartphone. The HD screen (4.5 inches) is obviously not the only high-end feature of the handset, as it also comes with LTE connectivity, 1GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, NFC, Wi-Fi, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a 1,830 mAh battery.
The LU6200 is 10.5mm thin, and runs Android – most probably Gingerbread.
The LU6200 could be the Korea-only version of the LG P930, which we've discovered back in May.
Unwired View, LG LU6200 with HD display, Android and LTE coming soon
