Well, I didn’t see this one coming. Remember the Dell Streak 5 and Streak 7. Well, it looks like Dell isn’t quite ready to give up on at least one of those devices. The Dell Streak 7 will reportedly see an update soon, jumping all the way from Android 2.2 Froyo, straight to Android 3.2 Honeycomb. A few demo units were spotted running the latest version of Android at IFA with Dell’s “Stage UI” thrown into the mix as well.
Exactly when the update will begin rolling out wasn’t mentioned but seeing how Honeycomb is already up and running on these demo units is a good indication we wont have to wait long.
