EA Denies Receiving 'Truckload Of Money' From Apple

EA Denies Receiving 'Truckload Of Money' From Apple

Plants vs Zombies, an Electronic Arts title, is a popular mobile game. The sequel was released for iOS devices back in August, an Android version is yet to be released. Earlier today we reported that Apple was alleged to have given EA “a truckload of money” to hold off on releasing Plants vs Zombies 2 for Android. Electronic Arts, in an official statement, says that no money was exchanged between Apple and EA for this purpose.
Head of EA Labels Frank Gibeau is rumored to have said in an internal meeting that Apple paid a “truckload” of money, however Cupertino has flat out denied any involvement in this matter.
