Bluebird DC50 launch at Beaulieu delayed

Bluebird DC50 launch at Beaulieu delayed

The name Bluebird may be synonymous with speed, made as it were by the land speed record car that bore the name the better part of a century ago. But speed doesn't always come without its setbacks. In July we reported on plans to release a pair of high-performance electric vehicles to revive the Bluebird name: the DC50 sportscar and the GTL formula racer. They were set to bow later this month in England, but now, through no fault of its own, the Bluebird initiative has been pushed off.

That's because, while the cars themselves may or may not be ready to unveil, the event at which they were to be showcased has been postponed.
