Yesterday HTC decided to re-announce the midrange Desire 500 smartphone, this time for Europe. The handset was first unveiled a few weeks ago for Taiwan. But now it's coming to Europe, and we heard that it would be released in the UK before the end of this month. What we haven't had so far is a price for the UK, although we know that in Germany and Austria the Desire 500 will get a recommended retail price of €279, and it will become available over there in September.
If you're in the UK, there are reasons to be happy today (if you crave a Desire 500, that is).
