It was reported by in May that popular strategy game Sid Meier's Civilization would have a Facebook version called Civilization World, which was announced today that it is out on beta version. Just like in the original version, Civilization World (or CivWorld as it is affectionately called) is a strategy game that allows players to built, expand, and develop their empires that last through different eras, from ancient to modern to near-future. What makes CivWorld different from past versions is the integration of social element into the game. It gives users the option to join teams and conquer the world as a group.
