Sprint's Samsung Google Nexus S 4G is due to receive a software update starting on July 25 (that's this coming Monday), according to official word from Sprint. This won't be a ‘big' update, and it won't make your Nexus S 4G run anything other than Android Gingerbread. It is, however, rumored that this update will take your OS version to 2.3.5. The update will improve 4G speeds and signal strength, Wi-Fi connectivity, speakerphone audio quality, and will add TTY support for the deaf and hard of hearing.
There's no word yet on whether this update will make it to non-4G, non-Sprint versions of the Google Nexus S.
