. There have been numerous reports regarding Apple's (AAPL) rumored high-definition television set. Some analysts have claimed that the Cupertino-based company would announce a self-branded HDTV later this year, while others have suggested that the device will not launch until some time in 2013 or even 2014. Earlier reports have also stated that rather than release an HDTV, the company will focus on its Apple TV box and include features such as a cloud-based DVR service, social sharing and an icon-based user interface.
