Toshiba hasn't commented anything in this regard, but if these links and sources are to be believed, Toshiba Thrive 7-inch tablet is ready for prime time consumers. It joins the front with the Galaxy Tab, the Kindle Fire, the Nook Tablet and many others in the 7-inchers league. Nothing substantial has been reported about its technical specifications, but it is essentially the same as its 10.1" variant except that it lacks full HDMI and USB ports, which have been seemingly shaved off to save space.
