More than 27,000 South Korean iPhone users have filed a class-action suit in Changwon against Apple's South Korea division. The suit claims the users' privacy was invaded when their location data was collected without their consent. The suit is led by attorney Kim Hyung-Suk, who won a similar lawsuit earlier this year and was awarded $1,000,000 won (~$930) in damages.
Apple has already been fined 3 million won by the Korean Communications Commission, and has since been ordered to encrypt the location data.
