It is rare to see Japan-made smartphones with full touch screens, but with the growing popularity of the iPhone in the country, domestic companies need to catch up as their customers begin throwing away their clam shell feature phones. Sharp introduces its Ice Cream Sandwich-based iPhone rival. The Pantone 5 features a 3.7-inch touch display with 854 x 480 resolution, a 4-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front shooter, and it is built to withstand dust and water splashes.
