The Freedom is an induction cooktop that acts like a solid-top range. The Lady's mother loves her ceramic hob. Not because it is easy or quick to use (it isn't) but because it is easy to clean. An induction hob solves the speed and responsiveness issues, and remains cleanup-friendly, but doesn't it seem that, when you are trying to cram more than a couple of pots on there together, all the extra flat space of the cooktop is being wasted?
The Thermador Freedom cooktop fixes this. It's an induction hob which lets you place pots and pans anywhere on the cooktop.
