Earlier we reported that during the beta of iOS 5.0.1, users were reporting that there was great success regarding the fix of the iPhone's battery drain, which seems to have gone from bad to worse with the upgrade to iOS 5. Now it looks like Apple has finally released the iOS 5.0.1 update to the rest of the iOS users, and there are reports that this could be downloaded as a 44.6MB OTA update in Europe, although it seems that users in the US have yet to receive the OTA notification. The beta was released not too long ago to select users, but we're glad that Apple works fast as the update is now ready for everyone.
