Nokia UK and Clove has started pre-order campaigns for the Nokia's first Windows Phone-based handset - the Lumia 800. It is coming sometime in November but there is no specific date just yet. You can pre-order a Lumia 800 from Nokia UK official website, but currently it is available only on a contract. And they are not selling it directly, but instead redirect to The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U. If you are OK with signing a contract, the phone will be yours for free with a two-year contract with Vodafone, Orange, and Three.

Clove also offers the Lumia 800 on pre-order, but it is the unlocked SIM-free version.

Verizon's Motorola Droid RAZR goes on pre-order tomorrow for $299

Announced last week as one of the most exciting Android devices ever (and also the thinnest - only 7.1mm), the Motorola Droid RAZR will be officially available for pre-order in the US starting tomorrow, October 27. As you've probably already heard, Verizon is the only US carrier that's going to offer the Droid RAZR - and it will do it for $299 on contract, promising to ship in "no later than November 10." November 10 is likely also the date when users will be able to buy the new Droid in stores.

And just as the rumors suggested, Verizon says it's shipping no later than November 10th which gives them room to ship to preorderers a bit before then (we wouldn't cling too tightly to that last bit, though). The DROID RAZR has a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.2GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, Android 2.3 with MOTOBLUR, 4G LTE radios and more. Nokia fanboys and girls across the British Isles are getting the Lumia 800 love as early as November. Confirmed on a trio of carriers earlier today, Espoo's "first real Windows Phone" is slated to hit Vodafone, Orange and 3 UK sometime next month, though no specific street date has yet been revealed. You can hit up the operators' respective sites now to sign-up for the availability updates, or go whole hog with an in-store pre-order in the case of 3 UK. At least one of these networks is sweetening the pot for potential subs, as Orange's enticing lure of a free Xbox 360 with handset upgrade is sure to reel in bargain hunting customers.
