HTC EVO 4G+ for Sprint becomes official

A few days back a video of an HTC phone leaked on the Internet. It looked like it was made for SprintÂ's network and similar to the EVO 3D. Now the phone has been officially launched and it is called the HTC EVO 4G+. The EVO 4G+ is almost identical to the EVO 3D. The only major difference between the two is that the EVO 4G+ works on SprintÂ's 4G network but lacks the 3D display and dual cameras on the back. Instead it has a standard 4.3-inch qHD display on the front and an 8 megapixel camera on the back capable of recording 1080p videos. Inside it has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM.

iPhone is the top selling phone on Verizon and AT&T

According to BTIG Research, the iPhone is the top-selling phone at Verizon and AT&T. This result comes from asking 250 Verizon and AT&T stores around the US. Even though the iPhone 4 was launched on VerizonÂ's network just five months ago it is already their top selling phone. 51% of the Verizon stores said that the iPhone 4 was their top selling phone while 38% said that it tied with an Android phone, which would usually be the Samsung Droid Charge or the HTC Thunderbolt.

Team Fortress 2: now free to play forever

Earlier this week, Valve put one of its most popular games of all time, Team Fortress 2, as a free download on Steam. Now, for some strange reason, the company is feeling even more generous than ever and has released the game as a free to play game - forever. This means that all you PC gamers that haven't gotten your hands on this game now are in for a treat. Valve has decided to earn money through in-game purchases instead of selling copies of the game (which cost a lot more than the game anyway - have you seen the prices of the in-game hats?).

LG Thrill 3D hands-on (again)

We spent some more time with AT&T's first 3D-capable handset - the LG Thrill 4G - yesterday, and we have to say, it might deliver a better 3D experience than Sprint's HTC EVO 3D. 3D viewing angles for 3D content seemed much better in our limited time with the handset. The phone itself felt good to hold and use, with a solid soft-touch rubberized finish and brushed anodized metal accents on the front of the device. The LG Thrill 4G runs a dual-core OMAP processor and it features a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, dual 5-megapixel rear cameras for 3D photo and video capture, and Android 2.2 Froyo.

Gameloft launches NOVA 2 HD in the Android Market
