Stinky Footboard Makes Its Way As a Kickstarter Project

Stinky Footboard Makes Its Way As a Kickstarter Project

Do you remember the Stinky Footboard. It might actually have done pretty well if it were to be released on April Fool's Day, but apparently something like this deserved far more than being just a joke or a prank. In fact, the Stinky Footboard has finally made its way to the popular crowd funding site known as Kickstarter, where there are still 29 more days left to achieve the $75,000 goal. Those who want to support the Stinky Footboard campaign are able to place a pre-order, so to speak, for the board at a discounted price. This would mean dropping at least $89, where it will feature free shipping as well for folks living in North America.

Analyze your golf putting swing with your club marker

Instead of inserting a monogrammed club marker into your golf club grips, why not use something that can analyze your golf putting swing to help you improve your game.  With the 3BaysGSA PUTT analyzer, you'll be able to analyze your consistency, face and attack angles, tempo, back-swing and down-swing times, impact speed, and swing path distance.

Study Finds That Phablets Are A Fad, Mid-Sized Phones Remain Dominant

Study Finds That Phablets Are A Fad, Mid-Sized Phones Remain Dominant

When Samsung first took the wraps off the original Galaxy Note, many were a little surprised at the size of the device which went well beyond the size of most smartphones during that time. Many expected it would be a novelty sort of device, but safe to say its success has not only spawned a successor in the Galaxy Note 2, but has paved the way for other devices from HTC, LG, and Sony to release similarly-sized devices as well. However according to a report from mobile marketing analyst, Flurry, they have deemed phablet devices to be a fad, and that mid-sized smartphones are currently dominating.

Blackberry Will Continue Releasing Blackberry 7 Devices In Some Regions

With the launch of Blackberry 10 and its accompanying devices like the Z10, we would have thought that Blackberry would be pushing hard to ensure that it manages to cover as much ground as possible. However that does not seem to be the case and according to CEO Thorsten Heins in an interview with CBC, it has been revealed that Blackberry will continue releasing new Blackberry phones running on Blackberry 7, the company's older operating system.

HD Voice On AT&T In 2013?

HD Voice On AT&T In 2013?

AT&T did drop hints in the past, but it is always nice to see something hinted before being made very, very real, as the company has released an official statement to confirm that HD Voice is well on its way to the masses, where the company's timetable has scheduled a 2013 release. Right now, T-Mobile happens to be the only wireless carrier in the US which delivers nation-wide HD Voice, while Sprint's offering is only available on its limited LTE network.

iPhone 5 Promotional Material Reaching T-Mobile Stores

iPhone 5 Promotional Material Reaching T-Mobile Stores

Not so long ago T-Mobile announced at its Uncarrier event that it will begin offering the iPhone 5 to customers, starting April 12. There's no uncertainty surrounding the date and the launch won't be hampered by availability issues the likes of what HTC One is having to face right now. So it hardly comes as a surprise to see that iPhone 5 promotional material has already been delivered to many T-Mobile retail stores. These are wall posters with the April 12 iPhone 5 launch date on them.

The Boreas Gear Erawan Travel Duffle mini-review

The Boreas Gear Erawan Travel Duffle mini-review

Occasionally, members of the Gadgeteer Team receive products out of the blue, sent by eager PR people proud of their product(s), hopeful that we will take a look at them and comment on and/or review them on the website. Many times it is the umpteenth smartphone case or something just as lack-luster, but occasionally it is from a manufacturer or an item we had never heard of, something that causes us to raise an eyebrow and get our Gadgeteer synapses firing and keyboards a-clicking. That's the case with the Erawan Travel Duffle from Boreas Gear - impressing me enough to do just that and create this mini review.
