I use Pocket on my Android as a repository for my favorite blogs and articles on the web. Today, the popular app for Android has just received a nifty update. Its developers say that the new update is centered on performance, just in time for Google's new line of Nexus devices. Pocket for Android is now more responsive, thanks to the slew of performance improvements on the app.

Samsung: Galaxy Note II has sold 3 million units worldwide

Just over a month removed from launching its latest phablet, Samsung is reporting the Galaxy Note II has already racked up sales of 3 million units. The 5.5-inch stylus-enabled smartphone is selling at more than three times the rate of the original Note, a figure which probably won't be hurt by rolling out on multiple carriers including Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular in the US.

 . When I received my Nexus 7,  I knew I wanted some sort of  cover. I know it's a pity to cover up such slim and sleek items, but you do have to protect them while you're out and about, or it's thrown into your gadget bag.  It actually fit really well into my Leatherback medium gadget pouch, but since finding my Acer Iconia case for my Thinkpad Tablet, I wanted something that was light and protective and provided some sort of stand for flexibility. Mac fans not keen on picking up a new iMac to get that best-of-all-worlds Fusion Drive might not have to consider a full-on system swap if they're brave enough. Knowing how Apple's approach unites an SSD and a spinning hard drive in a single logical volume, developer Patrick Stein has used command line code to do just that inside his Mac Pro and prove that it works. His series of experiments with organized data shows the effect on storage speeds and that the pseudo-Fusion should even work with less common ZFS formatting.
